The 2027 NZPCA Eventing Champs are at Waikato Equestrian Centre in Hamilton, 16–19 April 2027, hosted by Franklin Thames Valley Region Pony Club. Here is what your Region needs to know, and how to be first to get the detail.

A weekend for riders from all Regions.

From Friday's arrival to Monday's prizegiving, this is three days of competition and everything around it. Riders, coaches, families and supporters, all in one place, all weekend.

How it works for your Region

Teams, individuals, and a lot of support.

The NZPCA Eventing Champs bring together Regions from across the country. Get your riders thinking about it now, and we will get the full entry detail to you the moment it is set.

Who competes

MT 95, DC 105 and A1 110 are contested by teams and individuals. NZPC 80 is individual entries only.

Every rider brings a crew: coaches, parents, grooms and supporters. It is a weekend for everyone who comes along, not just the ones on course.

Team sizes, qualification and the entry process are being finalised by the organising committee.

Friday 16 April

Arrival

Arrive, stable and settle in. The official course walk opens Saturday.

Saturday 17 April

Dressage

Dressage, the official cross country course walk opens, and skit night in the evening.

Sunday 18 April

Cross country

The big one, out on course all day.

Monday 19 April

Show jumping

Show jumping, then prizegiving. The champs wrap up.

In the lead-up we will run the Road to Champs: a season of content, challenges and moments that build momentum from your Region to the main event. It is how riders, families and supporters get involved early, and how your Region's story becomes part of the champs. Watch this space, and follow along.
